Intermediate Business Development and Partnerships for Startups 

Alex Taub, Lead Business Development, Aviary

This class will teach you how to take your business development skills to the next level. It's designed for those with moderate experience or knowledge of business developm . ent but will still be useful for every member of a startup team.


The class will cover topics including strategies for getting meetings, closing deals, and convincing partners to do a pilot. In addition, it will cover best practices for getting introductions, dealing with rejection, and important tips on dealing with partners after you close.

Alex Taub leads business development and partnerships at Aviary. In this role, he has led partnership efforts with various media entities and online websites. He ran Photo Hack Day securing NASDAQ and 20 other company sponsors. Alex is on the board of the New York Venture Community (NYVC), organizer of the Digital Learning Series with Startl, a Next NY fellow, and advises various early-stage companies
